ATLANTA – Opening Day is here and the Atlanta Braves will take on their National League East rivals the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday, April 1 at 7:10 p.m. Festivities include a Braves legend, a country music star and Miss America. The Braves are encouraging fans to arrive early so they don’t miss a minute of the action.

Country Music Star Rodney Atkins, will perform an exciting pregame concert in Fan Plaza at 5:30 p.m. Atkins, who has been nominated for six ACMs and two CMAs (winning Top New Male Vocalist once), will also sing the National Anthem prior the game.

Fans are encouraged to be seated by 6:20 p.m. for the special pregame ceremonies that will welcome the 2013 season and their Atlanta Braves. During the National Anthem, four T-6s of the historic Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air Force will perform a flyover across Turner Field. Fans will see…
