Staying right here in Atlanta. I am not sure how to feel about it. I thought he was gone but like I said in my article about the trade talks before, I did not think the Hawks were going to get any offer that would be what they were looking for. I am happy he is still here. He is my favorite Hawks player. So at least for the next few months we get to see Josh Smith, possibly for the final times in a Hawks uniform.

That doesn’t mean the Hawks were silent during the trade deadline. They did make two deals: trading shooting guard Anthony Morrow to the Dallas Mavericks for small forward Dahntay Jones. They also picked up power forward Jeremy Tyler from the Golden State Warriors for cash and future draft considerations.
