The Georgia Bulldogs put up a valiant effort against Alabama but just did not have enough time to pull out the upset. And after coming so close they were not able to compete in a BCS bowl because of the rule that only allows two teams per conference. So they, and as much as I do not want to say it but it feels that way, get stuck in the Capital One Bowl against Nebraska. The same team that got its butt whipped by Wisconsin 70-31 in the Big 10 Championship game.

This will be the second meeting between this two schools. The first was back in 1969 in the Sun Bowl. Nebraska won 45-6.

I think Georgia has a very good chance to win this game, if Mark Richt can somehow rally the troops and make them believe this game is important and a stepping stone to next year.
